With the attention of the FBI, media and voters firmly fixated on Hillary Clinton and her long time aide Huma Abedin, it seems she is desperate to change the focus to the “Trump Russia connection” fiction that the Democrats chose as their latest distraction from their own scandals.
Hillary and her allies went on a coordinated effort a few months ago to try and link Donald Trump to some sort of illicit activity involving Vladimir Putin and Russia, although absolutely no evidence of any such connection has ever emerged. After all, it’s not like the FBI opened a case against Donald Trump or any of his close associates, like they have on Hillary. That hasn’t stopped the media and Clinton campaign from attacking Trump using this narrative, even though it has proved to have little to no impact on his polls.
It seems official, Hillary Clinton and her team have run out of ammo to attack, smear or criticize Donald Trump about and have fallen back to the “Trump is a Russian agent” narrative, which even the most uninformed voter has a hard time believing.
Earlier today, Hillary Clinton, or more likely her staff, sent the following tweet:
“With the election just 8 days away…Trump should immediately disclose all of his ties and connections to the Kremlin and its associates.”
— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) October 31, 2016
You can literally smell the desperation on this tweet, as it’s obvious the entire nation is focused on the fact that the FBI just re-opened the Clinton email case less than 2 weeks from election day. Which begs the question after reading a tweet like this, “Is that all you got?” An old, beat up narrative about Donald Trump and the Kremlin that never really gained any traction with the voters?
Perhaps the Clinton campaign is so disconnected from the pulse of the American voter, that they really think no one is paying attention to massive amounts of scandals surrounding Hillary, the DNC and the Democratic party’s operatives that have been exposed on a daily basis for the past month!
If this tweet is the best they can do, get use to saying “President Trump” real soon.
And if you think this tweet is desperate, check out Harry Reid’s recent statement claiming that the FBI has evidence of a Trump-Russia connection, and Director Comey himself is suppressing it for some unknown reason. Odd, Mr. Reid had nothing but nice things to say about James Comey back in July when he announced there would be no indictment of Clinton for her mishandling of classified materials.
