Eugenior Joseph, a 22-year-old African-American, was having lunch at a Cheesecake Factory restaurant in Miami, Florida, on Mother’s Day when he suffered humiliating gestures and racially charged comments from the surrounding employees.
As the Daily Wire reports there were multiple witnesses to variety of insulting behaviors on the part of Cheesecake Factory employees. One employee even went as far to threaten to hit Joseph in the head so hard that his hat would come off.
“Her finger was literally on top of his head, we were all looking at her like ‘what is happening?'” one witness told The Daily Wire. “She was pointing at him, calling her other coworkers, telling them to look at this guy wearing a Make America Great Again hat.”
At that point, approximately a dozen or so employees approached the table and began making comments about the hat, with some saying they wanted to punch Joseph in the face. Witnesses also allege that some of the employees also referred to him as a “n**ger” in their conversations among each other.
“So then all the employees started standing there, saying things out loud, like, ‘I’m going to knock his head in so hard his hat’s going to come off,” the witness continued.
One of the employees gave Joseph intimidating looks, clenching his fists and making hand gestures that appeared to indicate that he was ready to engage in a fistfight.
“He got behind me and another coworker came by and they were staring at each other and he fist bumped him and then he started looking at me, balling his fists, smacking his fists, trying to scare me,” Joseph told The Daily Wire.
Democrats and staunch liberals often brand themselves as “tolerant”, while at the same time demanding everyone else embrace their exact political beliefs and opinions. They are quick to brand President Trump, or anyone who supports him, as a racist to effectively shut down their opposing views. However, time and time again there are incidents of anti-Trumpers forming the equivalent of mini-hate groups wherever they gather if someone daring to wear a MAGA hat passes by.
It should come as no surprise that one witnesses to the situation at the Cheesecake Factory described the anti-Trump leftists as “a lynch mob”.
Another witness told The Daily Wire that the group of employees looked like a lynch mob and they couldn’t stand to see a black man wearing a hat that showed support for the president.
Employees at the restaurant continued to mock and intimidate Joseph after he got up to use the restroom.
The anti-Trump employees started to jeer and shout comments at Joseph in addition to booing him loudly as he walked by. Reportedly, the hostile situation that the Cheesecake Factory employees created resulted in an elderly women having to take her medication immediately to calm her nerves.
“I got up and went to the restroom, my girlfriend followed me, and as we were walking back, a group of [the employees] came out from the back and they just started clapping and yelling, and just screaming things at me,” Joseph says.
Another witness verified the claims, saying that the employees in the kitchen were booing Joseph loudly as he walked by.
One of the witnesses said that the event was so traumatic and threatening that an elderly woman who was present had to take medication to calm herself down.
Joseph has yet to hear from representatives from the Cheesecake Factory, which is surprising given the severity of the claims and the fact that multiple witnesses backed up his account of the employee’s horrific behaviors.
Joseph says that he has not heard from anyone at The Cheesecake Factory about what he experienced inside their restaurant.
Despite being new to politics, Joseph says that he wears the hat because he thinks Trump “is a really good president,” adding that he is disappointed that a black man can’t wear a hat to support the president without being attacked.
There is a stark difference between the way the hostility that Joseph and his girlfriend had to face at the Cheesecake Factory and how the recent Starbucks bathroom situation was handled. Both cases involve a minority allegedly being mistreated by employees of a public dining establishment, and in both cases the police were called to scene.
Starbucks closed each and every one of their stores for an entire day, costing them millions of dollars, so that every employee could attend “racial sensitivity training” in order
The Cheesecake Factory, however, issued the following statement a day after the incident took place, which reads as any other generic statement that a company makes when their employees misbehave:
No guest should ever feel unwelcomed in one of our restaurants and we are taking this matter very seriously. Upon learning of this incident, we immediately apologized to the guests in person. We are conducting an investigation and will take the appropriate corrective action.
In response to this incident, the Cheesecake Factory also stated that, “the individuals involved in the incident have been suspended pending the results of our investigation.”
That’s it? No headlines in a single mainstream media newspaper? No panels or focus groups on CNN or other mainstream news networks expressing outrage and demanding justice for minorities? No racial sensitivity training for every employee of the Cheesecake Factory while they close their stores for a day?
It should come as no surprise that none of these things occurred as they did in the Starbucks case, as Joseph is a proud supporter of President Donald Trump and also an African-American man, which the Democrats fear immensely. The Democrats know that if they lose even a fraction of their African-American voter base, then their survival as a significant political power is at an end.
If an African-American man had been wearing an “I’m With Her” t-shirt and was treated even half as badly as Joseph was in a restaurant by conservatives, then you can bet that’s all you would be hearing about on every leftist media outlet for the coming week. Unfortunately, Joseph’s case does not fit the manufactured narrative the mainstream media has been frantically pushing that Trump’s support is dwindling, and as such his horrific experience will not receive the exposure it deserves.
