President Trump delivered a speech in West Virginia tonight where organizers estimate that more than 20,000 people have signed up to attend at a stadium that only holds 9,000.

Trump was met with loud cheers and applause in a state that showed deep support for his agenda during the election, particularly the president’s friendly policies on coal. Trump also took on the Democrats over their Russian obsession, calling it a “totally made up Russia story” and nothing more than an “excuse for the greatest loss in the history of American politics.”
Trump then goaded the Democrats by asking, “Have you seen any Russians in West Virginia or Ohio or Pennsylvania? Are there any Russians here tonight? They can’t beat us at the voting booths so they are trying to cheat you out of the future and the future you want.”
“The reason why Democrats talk about the totally made up Russia story is because they have no message, no agenda, and no vision,” Trump told the cheering crowd. “The Russia story is a total fabrication, it’s just an excuse for the greatest loss in the history of American politics. It just makes them feel better when they have nothing else to talk about.”
Trump brought up the numerous scandals, crimes and interactions with Russia that Hillary Clinton has had, but there has yet to be any official investigation in her long list of controversies.
“What the prosecutors should be looking at are Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 deleted emails, and they should be looking at the paid Russian speeches, and the owned Russian companies — or let them look at the uranium she sold that is now in the hands of very angry Russians,” he said to cheers of “lock her up” from the enthusiastic crowd.
It seems the “lock her up” agenda item is still alive and well in West Virginia, as I predict it is with most of Trump’s base.
President Trump hinted that a big announcement was coming at this rally, and West Virginia’s Governor Jim Justice joined the president on the stage to announce he was switching political parties. Once a Democrat, Gov. Justice announced he will now be joining the Republican Party, thanks to Trump.
A smart move on the part of Gov. Justice, as West Virginia voted overwhelming in favor of Donald Trump and his policies, making it unlikely that a Democratic governor would have much chance of reelection.

The president also mentioned the DC “swamp”, taking aim at both Republicans and Democrats, telling that crowd that, “We don’t need advice from the Washington swamp, we need to drain the swamp.”

The crowd was estatic at Trump’s speech, but he faces a much colder reception back in Washington DC, where Mueller has reportedly convened a grand jury and taking steps to target Trump’s son, Donald Jr., over alleged Russian collusion. Make no mistake, the establishment will chip away at Trump, his family and his administration until they undo the results of last year’s election, which they believed they had wrapped up in their favor.
