As the Wikileaks emails continue to be released to the public, and the mainstream media mostly ignores them, it seems John Podesta is letting this embarrassing hack get under his skin.
In an attempt to mock Julian Assange, who has been living in exile at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London for over 5 years, Podesta tweets a picture of himself having a catered meal prepared by professional chefs.
Podesta states that, “I bet the lobster risotto is better than the food at the Ecuadorian Embassy.” Perhaps Mr. Podesta was taking a page from Donald Trump’s playbook of attracting attention to his cause by firing out explosive tweets, but somehow it just doesn’t work for him as it does for Trump. Instead, his tweet only proves his elitist attitude, as the best insult he could come up with is mocking the food that the average person who can’t afford catered meals is forced to eat.
Wikileaks responds, “Yes, we get it. The elite eat better than the peasants they abuse.”
I guess John Podesta doesn’t understand that the average citizen cannot afford lobster risotto prepared by professional chefs on a daily basis.
Podesta and the entire Clinton campaign has been criticized for appearing disconnected from the average voter, with Hillary preferring to attend lavish fundraisers with the Hollywood elite than rallies with the everyday people.
Chouk up another win in the Julian Assange column.
