During the election Donald Trump made bringing back jobs from overseas one of his core promises as well as vowing to prevent companies from leaving America in the first place, and although he hasn’t even been sworn into office yet, Trump is already making good on that promise.
Back in February of this year, a video was leaked from an employee at Carrier Air Conditioners and showed a member of their management team announcing that they will be closing their production facilities in Indiana and moving to Mexico, resulting in the loss of thousands of jobs once completed.
Carrier Air Conditioners was one of the companies that Trump mentioned in his speeches, as they announced earlier in the year that they were going to lay off 1400 workers and move their factories to Mexico. Trump promised to negotiate with companies before they decide to move and cost our nation jobs, stating that as president he would “call up the CEO of Carrier” personally.
Now, that call from Trump appears to have taken place, as Carrier announced today that they will be keeping 1,000 jobs at their plants in Indiana.
We are pleased to have reached a deal with President-elect Trump & VP-elect Pence to keep close to 1,000 jobs in Indy. More details soon.

Donald Trump is not even sworn into office yet and he and his Vice President-elect are already making deals that are saving American jobs. Although the 1,000 jobs that are staying in our country doesn’t amount to all of the workers that Carrier was planning to lay off, Trump has plenty of time to work with them and other companies.

When was the last time you remember a president making campaign promises and actually sticking to them, let alone making good on his word before his inauguration? The last promise I recall Obama keeping is when he said he would “fundamentally transform America”, but not necessarily for the better. It appears Obama’s fundamental transformation hasn’t been so well received, as the voters came out in force for Donald Trump this year.
These aren’t the first jobs Donald Trump has helped save since his election victory, as earlier this month he negotiated with Ford to keep their Lincoln utility vehicle plant in Kentucky, rather than moving it overseas as they had planned.
Just got a call from my friend Bill Ford, Chairman of Ford, who advised me that he will be keeping the Lincoln plant in Kentucky - no Mexico

I worked hard with Bill Ford to keep the Lincoln plant in Kentucky. I owed it to the great State of Kentucky for their confidence in me!

Looks like it will again be safe for pro-American Donald Trump voters to purchase Carrier air conditioners, knowing that they will be supporting American workers to help keep our companies local.
Are we getting tired of winning yet?
